Tell us a little about yourself with a focus on what motivates you.

I am a graduate of Houston Baptist University with a B.A. in Business Management. I have taught Special Ed. English for the past 8 years. I'm the mother of 2 daughters, grandmother of one. I'm intrinsically motivated by the desire to help other people go from good to great and to not be BROKE!

When did you establish your company and where did the idea originate?

Trinjay Enterprise was founded in 2015. The name is a combination of the names my daughters. I decided to build a legacy for them tomorrow by serving others today.

What need or needs does your company seek to fill for its customers?

TrinJay Enterprise has 3 areas that will surely assist almost any client.

1. Consulting- Our business consulting packages will help you manifest your business vision from start to finish.

2. Coaching- This portion of the business allows us to delve into who you really are and identify limitations so they can be removed.

3. Creation- We assist you in creating wealth for your family and future generations using proven methods.

What is the one thing that sets your company apart from its competitors?

The quality of service is what separates me from others. I provide each client with a personal touch. Due to this, I only work with select clients. This prevents me from spreading myself too thin and not giving each client my all.

What was the biggest challenge you faced while getting your company up and running, and how did you overcome it?

The biggest challenge I had was ME. I was in my own way. I had to overcome my fears, doubts and disbelief in myself. The mastering off myself has been my toughest challenge to date. I overcame by looking inward and learning from others who were doing what I knew I should be doing.

Are there resources you have utilized that other founders might find compelling or useful?

Youtube! Social Media! We have more free resources that can propel us to the next level than we've ever had before. The key is not just learning but utilizing the information available to us.

What steps have you taken to secure funding for your company and what, if anything, would you do differently if you had to start over?

I have built my business and personal credit. It is not an overnight process but with consistency you will reap results.

Have there been any questions you have had as an entrepreneur of a fledgling startup that you had a particularly hard time finding the answers to?

Oh yes! My question was, "Where is the money?" I continuously look for ways to grow my business financially. I look for ways to reach new clients. This will probably be a question I will always ask because things are always changing.

What challenges, if any, are you grappling with?

I don't perceive challenges but there are always opportunities to learn and create.

Advice to female entrepreneurs…

Don't be afraid to ask for help. You don't have all of the answers and that is ok. What is not ok is to not seek the help you need to grow your business.
